Estalvi Ètic

Estalvi Ètic is an ethical banking initiative through which Colonya customers are given the opportunity to earmark their savings in a socially responsible manner with a view to funding sustainable projects in line with the bank's social welfare objectives.

The model puts ethics and solidarity at the heart of finance and the economy, with a view to helping people and improving society as a whole.

Ethical Accounts

By opening an ethical current account, you will make an annual solidarity contribution that will go directly to the Guillem Cifre Foundation.

Financing

The following may avail of financing from the Estalvi Ètic initiative:

• First and foremost, social and non-profit organisations.
• Families and individuals, to meet basic needs and to pay for education, green consumer initiatives and their first habitual residence.
• Entrepreneurs, self-employed and micro-enterprises, with priority given to green economy initiatives, investments in education, culture, health and social services as well as the productive economy rooted in the local environment.

Of the total amount financed through the Estalvi Ètic initiative, Colonya shall donate 0.35% of the initial amount of the operation to the Guillem Cifre Foundation.

Cards

Specific debit and credit cards for Colonya Estalvi Ètic customers. Solidarity, ethical and sustainable. They are solidary because Colonya makes an annual contribution of €5 to the Estalvi Ètic donation fund for each card issued, to meet grant proposals from Balearic Islands-based organisations. They are ethical because your money is used responsibly. As Estalvi Ètic customers, we are aware that any procurement-related decisions we make have a transformative and beneficial effect on society in the Balearic Islands. And, last but not least, they are sustainable because, in accordance with our commitment to responsible consumption, they are made of 100% recycled material.
